University of Mines and Technology, UMaT Admission Forms for Undergraduate Programme 2021/2022 Academic Year – The University of Mines and Technology, UMaT has released the Admission Forms for Undergraduate Programme for the 2021/2022 academic year.

The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) invites Applications from qualified applicants for admission to the under-listed undergraduate and diploma programmes for the 2021/2022 Academic Year:

The University of Mines and Technology announces for the information of the general public that applications are open for the admission of prospective applicants into various undergraduate programmes for the 2021/2022 academic year. All prospective applicants are advised to visit the University’s website www.umat.edu.gh and carefully read all relevant information and guidelines before applying.

As a policy, the University admits applicants from all races and nationalities, irrespective of their religious, cultural, social or ethnic persuasions. There is no minimum age limit for admission to any of the approved programmes of study of the University. All Bachelor degree programmes take a duration of 8 semesters (4 years) to complete.

HOW TO APPLY – UMaT ADMISSION FORMS 2021/2022

The cost of one set of UMaT application forms for the BSc programmes is Two Hundred Ghana cedis (GH¢200.00). The cost for Diploma programmes is GH¢175.00 and GH¢150.00 for Certificate programmes for Ghanaian applicants. The cost for international applicants is US$100.00 for BSc programmes, US$85.00 for Diploma programmes and US$75.00 for Certificate programmes.

Application forms (E-Voucher) can be purchased at all branches of the following institutions:

  • Standbic Bank
  • UBA
  • Procedure

      1.The Banks and the Post Offices have been furnished with a list of serial numbers and their corresponding Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) for the sale of the forms.
      2.On the payment for the forms, the Banks and the Post Offices will issue a payment receipt containing a unique serial number with its corresponding PIN per each form purchased.
      3.The serial number and the PIN will be used by the applicant as the login details on the UMaT Online Admission System (https://admissions.umat.edu.gh/addapps/ug/)
      4.All registration will be done ONLINE.

    Candidates who will write the WASSCE in 2021 can apply but MUST add their results to their ONLINE applications when the results are released. Applicants should know that only results provided at the time of the application will be used for selecting students.
